Welcome to the Miramar High School Soldier Band Program in Miramar, Florida. The Miramar Band Program is comprised of several entities: Miramar Soldier Band, Wind Ensemble and Concert Band, Jazz Band, Drumline, and Auxiliary (Sophisticated Sapphire Dancers, Sassy Sweetheart Majorettes, and Silver Strutter Flagettes). For the last four years, the band has been under the direction of Mr. Kevin Lopez, a BCU Alumni, former Wildcat Band member, and proficient trombonist.

Over the years, the Miramar High School Band Program has earned many Superior and Excellent Ratings at District and State Music Performance Assessments hosted by the Florida Bandmasters Association. The Miami Herald once wrote "... one of the best high school bands in the State of Florida" when referring to the MHS Band Program. The Miramar Band has been nationally televised and featured on stations such as CBS, SunSports, the NFL Network, and WGN Chicago. The Miramar Soldier Band has performed for many notable events and teams, including the Miami Dolphins, Spirit Airlines, the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl, and two Broadway musicals.
